DIY and Pintrest

So, we all know that Pintrest is full fof do it yourself ideas. How many have we pinned and never actually tried? Thinking, oh what a great idea and how easy it is....as you pin....and never again look at the silly pin again? Come on, we have all done it. So, today we decided to post on the ones we have actually tried and tested. 

This  home made laundry soap really works! It cost less than $15.00 and it will last you months! You read right, months.  For delicate clothes we continue to use a gentle detergent. Give it a try.

Home made deodorant. I know, one would think it does not work, but, actually it does! 

Remember to add a few drops of essential oils for scent. 

We like to use lavender and peppermint oils since they have anti-bacterial properties. 

Bacteria is what causes oder. It will not stop you from sweating but if you do...it does not smell!

This one is our favorite after the deodorant recipe. It works to even remove tough stains, like blood, and grease stains. If you want to try any of these recipes this is the one to start with! 

It even works to clean stained grout.
